Last year I got a wedding enquiry email and the address ended @rps.org … I was a little freaked at first because any photog in the UK worth their salt would recognise the Royal Photographic Society web address.
Quick note …although I’m not a fan of camera clubs like the SWPP and such, (pay them money and you get to put their logo on your website), the RPS is something totally different and mightily respected by many.
Anyway, the enquiry was from the sister of the very awesome Gillian and extremely dashing Dominic (aka Gilly & Doz). As soon as I met them on their houseboat I knew this was a wedding I wanted to photograph … anyone that cool is my sort of bride and groom.
The ceremony at St Leonard’s Church was performed by the v. cool James … I can see this guy doing seriously good stuff on the Christian scene … then it was Pimms O’clock at The Old House Hotel in Wickham where I plan to take the Bexter at some point to nibble on their excellent menu.
