Rhinefield Hotel Wedding – Kate & Sam

Early on a frosty morning in the New Forest, a deer foraged under an oak tree, a group of rabbits twitched and a photographer rolled up the drive that shares their garden. Suited, booted and clad with my trusty cameras, I had arrived for Kate & Sam’s Rhinefield Hotel wedding.

Girls Getting Ready

There was a bit of a problem on arrival. The room for Kate and her bridesmaids to get set for the day wasn’t ready. As soon as their event manager found out, an army of hotel staff appeared and had everything ship shape in just a few minutes. Kate and her team weren’t phased and just started to get ready for the day anyway.

The Boys Arrived

Next,I left what seemed like organised mayhem to cover the boys arriving. Sam seemed a tad nervous. However, with registrar interviews, flowers arriving and guests calling him for directions, he had enough to keep him occupied and not worry too much.

The Ceremony

With everyone in position, Sam took a gulp and the bridesmaids drove the beautiful Kate down the aisle held tightly by her Dad. The crescendo of nerves burst just before the formal part of the ceremony when Sam’s toddler of a niece decided it was a good idea to start talking and needed to play. Roars of laughter made tension disappear and Kate and Sam got themselves married good and proper.

Grandad

In the morning Kate had a picture request. She asked if I could gain a picture later in the day with her Grandad. Furthermore, the same request was backed up by her mum. With him having quite a few years under his belt and needing a bit of help here and there, it meant so much for a lot of people for him to get to the wedding. With that I was determined to get a great picture of him. He reminded me of my own Grandad in many ways. I got the shot the shot I hoped for and have included it in the gallery here.

Loved Up Rhinefield Hotel Wedding

It goes without saying that Kate & Sam are a seriously loved up couple, but the same feeling just seemed to spread amongst everyone there. In my opinion, it’s a Rhinefield Hotel thing, because all weddings I’ve covered there have such a great atmosphere.

Congratulations

Finally, congratulations Kate & Sam, thank you for hiring me as your wedding photographer. You and your guests were amazing to photograph. Above all, I hope the pictures I made help keep the memories of such a fabulous wedding day fresh and real.
