Helen & Jay’s wedding was nothing less than the purest of awesomeness! They had some serious plans as to what they wanted for their wedding … and although a couple of archaic English laws tried, nothing stopped them from getting what they wanted.
So after a quick “he does, she does” in a very pink register office these guys went back to their Grandad’s railway station for the main celebrations … and really tested my low light camera skills.
Helen walked up an aisle of railway sleepers with her Dad and Grandad to a perfectly plucked acoustic guitar, while over 100 moonlit guests in tuxedos and cocktail dresses looked on in what seemed a surreal moment that just seemed to pause time. Jay’s bro then blessed things up a little for a more relaxed and definitely more relevant ceremony, before Hog Roast and Thai was devoured in time for the Best Man’s speech and cake cutting with a difference!
Finally, at 11:20pm Helen, Jay and I did a garden walk and busted a few killer portraits … I’d definitely not recommend this to anyone that doesn’t have a garden lit by a TV crew.
Way to go H&J … you guys absolutely rock!
