I got to Kate’s place on her wedding morning … I wasn’t too concerned the door wasn’t answered after a couple of door bell rings as everyone can be a little busy getting ready. But after 10-mins and quite a few bell rings later I was quadruple checking my paperwork and calling every number Kate had given me … sending texts and generally starting to panic. Kate’s phone didn’t ring – it just went into playing Nickelback’s Rockstar … I used to love that tune but now I break into a cold sweat when I hear it.
Then the call came from bridesmaid Verity, that there had been a change of plan on the ‘getting ready’ location … phewwww … and the satnav got me their 10-mins later.
With some finishing touches, tugging and pulling from her bridesmaids Kate looked nothing less than stunning. Her Dad seemed lost for words when he came to pick her up and the mile wide grin on Rik’s face when Kate walked down the aisle was fully understandable.
The drizzly rain certainly tried to put a dampener on things but Kate, Rik and their excellent guests weren’t willing to give in so easily.
Massive thank you’s to Ben, Jay, Marc, Ian, Glenn and Mike for all your help.
Here’s a few photos from what can only be described as a wedding day of pure awesomeness.
